Beer Bottle opener with company logo

Friday afternoon I was asked to design a Beer Bottle Opener with our company logo (design had to be finished this Monday) So used the Sunday afternoon to design this gadget. Used a real opener to get the general dimensions of the opener.(reverse engineering) Sketched the opener in Solidworks and added our company logo (Opera House - Sydney) and a company based technical feature (screw hole for the keyring). Transfered the file into a dwg (for the extruder) and a .stl (for rapid prototyping) This afternoon received the 3D printed sample (printed by an ex-colleague who is now a teacher at a technical school (Thanks Martijn!!) and we have checked if this gadget can do what is designed for...Passed the beer bottle test!! Real gadget will be a (barrel finished) high strength Aluminum extrusion. The 6mtr long extrusions will be cut into 15mm pieces, barrel finished to remove the sharp edges, and handed out at a technical fair. (everything needs to be finished in three weeks, we call this "a top gear project") Last rendering shows the "tweaked" model after studying the flaws in the rapid prototype printed model. Added a leg so it can stand (horizontal) likes are appreciated
