This stubbie beer bottle (or can) rack is really simple to print and can be expanded to any size you like by just connecting more sections. My original 4 bottle design would be a very tight fit to print one on a 200mm square print bed. If you have a 300mm x 200mm print bed like me you can print 6 of these at a time. I will upload a 3 bottle design soon that will easily fit a 200mm square bed and may even squeeze onto a 150mm square bed. Update - I have now added variants for 1, 2 and 3 long bottle holders. Clearly the 1 long holder won't work by itself but could be a useful addition to a longer rack. If you make a rack that is say 3 long and hinge a 1 long rack on each end then they can be folded down when you want to store a lot of bottles and folded up for times when you only want to store a few bottles - but you want to liberate more shelf space for other things in the fridge - maybe even food! Post-Printing After printing, run a 3mm drill thru all the holes and join the sections together with 100mm long pieces of bamboo kebab skewer (or 110mm long for joining pieces to fit multiple sections together to make a longer rack). I found there is a bit of variation in the diameter of skewers with several in a pack being a nice tight fit in the 3mm hole and others being loose. I'd suggest test fitting skewers before opening up the holes with a drill. The basic 4 bottle design safely holds a pyramid of 10 beers in the fridge. Any more than 3 rows high you would probably be better to stand the bottles up. With 4 sections you can join them to make it anywhere from 5 to 8 bottles long but just varying the overlap. How I Designed This I was getting sick of my beers rolling around on the shelf in the fridge and I couldn't find a design I liked for a beer bottle/can holder so I designed my own. I wanted something that was quick to print, elegant and functional. The key to the success of this design was the kebab sticks to join the pieces together. This allowed for the printed parts to be very simple with no overhangs or bridging and very little plastic, while still producing a secure rack. An added advantage is that they allow for the rack to be easily extended with more sections.
