Beer Mash / Lauter tune tank

Lautering is the separation of the wort (the liquid containing the sugar extracted during mashing) from the grains. I designed, manufactured and supervised assembly and commission of this beer production factory in Lebanon in 2010. This brewerry is producing and distributing all over Lebanon and Europe. My innovation is in emptying the mash from the tank by just counter rotating the fins mechanism, with flaps that open and empty the whole mash from the side. The complete factory’s capacity was around 18000 Liters per day. The tastiest beer ever was when we fermented the first batch for couple of weeks, and we drank directly out of the sampling valve!
