Beer Tap (Business Card)

Beer Tap (Business Card)

Made this tap handle for my kegerator for use with my homebrew. The handle is made to fit a business card. I made it this way so I can easily swap out a self made business card for each different homebrew instead of getting a different tap handle for each brew. This has made my tap handle both more interesting and easier to change since it is not hard to make some decent business card labels. The end is already threaded for a standard tap thread (3/8-16 UNC) and increased tolerances to make up for 3D printer inaccuracy at this thread size. It easily threads onto my tap straight off of the printer. I use PLA but you could use whatever you would like. I print with the threaded end up and a 20 mm brim for stability. I use .3 mm layer height and zigzag infill at 5% (would be just fine with 0 infill) with 4 wall line count. With these settings the print only takes 4 and a half hours to print and is fairly sturdy. If your printer settings are capable of printing a 50mm bridge then you can print without supports. Otherwise you will need supports for this model.
