Before the Eye

This is the show image / piece for our upcoming exhibition at the University of Illinois Springfield Visual Arts Gallery called "Copy Shop" opening Nov 3rd thru Nov 28th. Antler comes from the Old French antoillier (see present french : "Andouiller", from ant-, meaning before, oeil, meaning eye and -ier, a suffix indicating an action or state of being)[1][2] possibly from some form of an unattested Latin word *anteocularis, "before the eye"[3] (and applied to the word for "branch"[4] or "horn"[2]). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antler
