The Belaz 75710 ultra-class haul truck is currently the largest in the world with a payload capacity of 450 tonnes. It is powered by two 16 cylinder 65,000 cc diesel engines each rated at 1715 kW (2300 bhp), which in turn power 4 Siemens electric motors, one for each pair of wheels, giving it four wheel drive. When not loaded, only one engine can be used, saving fuel. Also with four-wheel steering, the turning circle is claimed to be 20 metres.
