Belt Clip for Lowepro Tahoe Camera Pouch

Belt Clip for Lowepro Tahoe Camera Pouch

This is a 3D printable clip (requires some screws) to attach the strap at the back of a Lowepro small camera pouch to a belt. This seems like quite the "niche" thing (e.g. anyone who actually wants to have a belt-mounted holster for their device would probably have been wiser and just gotten something that can attach to the belt or have a fanny pack), so I didn't spend all that much time refining it. Have fun! Print Settings Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Doesn't Matter Notes: I didn't want to split the SCAD files, so the bottom piece is currently commented out in the design. Uncomment lines 25-31 and comment lines 34-42 if you want the bottom piece. You can adapt this for different sizes of screw by changing the value of screw_diam_tap and screw_diam_free in the design. The size of the opening for the belt and the clasp for the strap are controlled by constants tongue_width, belt_part_width, and strap_width. Post-Printing Assembly Instructions Drill the holes on the bottom piece (the piece without the cutout in the middle) to fit the screws you are using (I used #4-40 machine screws). 1a)Test fit the screws if needed. Place the bottom piece behind the strap on the camera pouch. Place the top piece on top of the strap on the camera pouch. Screw the top and bottom pieces together. If you were lazy like me and didn't trim the screws, you can put some tape or similar to prevent the screws from scraping against the back of the camera pouch.
