This is for a cheap-ass Horrible-Freight belt sander Chicago Electric Brand. It comes with a cloth bag to catch dust. First day, the zipper to open up the bag failed. Stitched in a new zipper... Still has a problem, you can see the cloud of fine dust when you turn it on, not cool for the lungs. So I needed to figure a way to attach a shop vac hose...VOILA! this thing! Fits small sized vacuum hoses from little shop vacs, and regular home type vacuum cleaners like Electrolux, Hoover, Rainbow, Kirby or other el-cheapo ones.You need an adapter to go from small hose to large standard shop vac hose such as the Home Depot Ridgid 6.0hp full size.
