The idea to make a drive belt tension meter came to mind due to the fact that it is impossible to buy anything like this in local stores. Honestly, even if it would be available - the price of such tools is quite high. To implement the idea, a small load was required - in my case, a part of a dumbbell weighing about 650 grams (1.4 lb). The remaining parts are made of ABS plastic. All parts are designed to fit more or less common 3d printing facilities - 200x200mm bed. It is advisable to make the hook harder in order to prevent deflections under the weight of the load. To assemble the finished device you will need any suitable glue. In order to translate applied load to belt deflection simple math is required, just google it.
