This is an adapter to mount a standard 40mmx40mmx10mm case fan in place of the unreliable, and often faulty GPU heatsink fan on the 1.0 revision original Xbox. Simply remove the old fan, set the new fan in place in the heatsink, and fasten the adapter down with the original screws.
