This is a 1, 2, and 3 board bench press block that I designed and printed. After printing the larger one (which was really just a way to test my printer) I thought that this was actually a pretty cool idea and made a smaller one which is much quicker and logical of a print. This smaller one's a little more refined but the same basic idea. You can press off the solid surface (on your chest) for 3 boards (4.5"), or use one of the slots for 2 boards (3") or 1 board (1.5"). Here's a video of this project (and a deadlift wedge which came out amazing!) if you want to see them in action. https://youtu.be/q1BSa--iIxg I use magnets glued in the slots to keep it stuck to the board. You may have to use a 5/16" or so drill bit to ream the magnet holes slightly larger if your printer isn't perfect. Just spin it with your fingers if the magnet is too tight of a fit and glue them in with super glue for extra security. The magnets I used are 8x3 and I got them from Amazon https://amzn.to/2M7JAI1 I printed with ABS for its impact resistance, in a gym it's going to get beat up a little. 2mm thick walls and 30% infill were my prototype which held up incredibly well. A final note, this was drawn in inches so you may have to scale up depending on your slicer.
