Benchtop Tool Holder for 3D Printing

Benchtop Tool Holder for 3D Printing

This was my earliest, and still most ambitious, design or print (Cura estimates 43 hours at 60 mm/s flat). It could probably be improved by someone who knows more about 3D design, because I am, admittedly, a hack, but I could not find a tool holder design I liked, so I made my own. I printed this early in the life of my Anet A8, and as you can see from the pictures, the quality is not amazing. I had installed Igus Drylin bushings shortly before the print, and the X axis was binding up, unbeknownst to me, and about 20 hours in started shake violently, and nearly failed if not for an application of oil to the rods (lesson: don't use Igus Drylin bushings with stock rods). It works well for me though, and the low quality doesn't bother me enough to reprint it. I have included two versions, one with "Anet A8" raised lettering on the front, and one without. I have also included the Sketchup files for anyone who wants to tinker with the design. Hopefully someone finds it useful, or at least entertaining.
