Ladies and gentlemen, it is with great joy and glee that I hereforth bring you the finest jank solution for the finest pair of headphones, the Beoplay H9 Parametric Earpad adapter lets my (and your) cheap ass avoid getting a $50 pair of replacement earpads in favor of using bootleg PLA to print your own to use with whatever ear pads you want, provided they're larger than 60ish millimeters. The included STL is intended for use with the Brainwavz HM5 Memory Foam Earpads - the premier choice in cheap ass earpads. With these particular pads, the soundstage grows significantly, the sound itself changes *a bit*, but the EQ in the APP can offset it back, but the headphones also become significantly comfier at the expense of now looking ... aesthetically challenged - more or less a good tradeoff if you're looking for home usage. protip: if you can't get a proper seal on the pads, apply a few turns of Teflon tape ( available in every hardware store ) to the joint.
