Berd Air Trapeze Mount "Blowden system"

I installed a Berd Air system on my BLV MGN Cube printer. After trying other "silent" designs, I discovered that once mounted to the printer frame, they all pass some vibration to the printer frame and caused noise. So I designed up a trapeze mount using RC velcro battery straps available everywhere. I used two straps for the trapeze and three more to clamp the hoses along the route to the extruder. * I purchased this pump from Amazon for $20. I tested it on my Octopus board connected directly into the 24v CNC fan port. It worked perfectly and draws less that half an amp. I plugged it into my Manta M8P directly in the 24v CNC fan port and it works there too. I cannot vouch for any other boards so check the current rating of your fan ports before installing this pump. I run klipper and made NO changes to my printer.cfg ! * Purchase 1/4 inch ID hose from you local hardware store. To cut down noise and increase flow, I placed a tee at the pump and ran two hoses to the nozzle. * I drilled out the holes to make them perfect with a small 1/16 inch drill bit (about 1.5 mm). ** This method will work on any printer with a cross piece of extrusion. *** I run the BTT H2 extruder so I included the nozzle and mount bracket for the H2 mounted to the Hermit crab mount. You will have to create your own nozzle and mount for other extruders. Or, buy/make the tube out of metal.
