After doing the magazine pad (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4917575), I was requested to try to design grips for the Bobcat. This is the result. These grips are 6mm thick, very similar to the original wood grips. These grips are a very close fit to my gun and install with no trimming or fitting. I don't know how variable these guns may be so you may need to do some fitting for your gun. After doing the smooth grips, I decided to try adding stippling after watching a very good YouTube video, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uadsn8f8tak. I modified his process a bit and it was very easy. I used the stippling pattern from the video. I found it is best printed outside surface down to avoid supports all over the inside of the grip. I printed the grips shown in PLA on a smooth sheet Since I had to violate the first principle of 3D design and printing a fillet off the build plate, you may have to play with the slicing to get the finish you want. A tester also printed them vertical standing on their bases with a large brim with good success as well. I have included the Fusion 360 files in case you want to change the thickness or play with the sculpting or stippling. All the interface geometry is contained in the initial sketch and is all in one sketch plane. All steps after are extrusions, cuts and fillets/chamfers. The internal cuts and extrusions need to remain unchanged as they provide clearance for pistol operation and for locating the grips. The external extrusions and fillets/chamfers can be modified to change the shape of the exterior for a custom fit. I'm sure some surface sculpting could be used to good advantage but I haven't learned those techniques yet. I also have done flat and extended magazine base pads which can be found at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4917575 as well as a speedloader.
