Summary My take on The Salamander Dagger from Berserk manga. Saramanderu no tanken is one of the magical items bestowed by Flora and Schierke to Guts and his team to help Schierke in her fight against the trolls raiding Enoch Village. It is wielded by Isidro. This is pretty close but work in progress first project so much to learn. please feel free to rework and fix if you feel froggy. Update: Added sheath very ruff and will take ages to print but there it is. Print Settings Printer Brand: FlashForge Printer: Creator Pro Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Infill: 5%-25% Notes: Blade fits tightly into guard may require sanding. Grip keys into pommel and guard keys loose require glue to stay. I mold and cast so the blade can be recast translucent lava color, and eventually, UV LED for glow. this is not rigged for led maybe a future version will. this is why i print at large layer height cus I just sand fill and prime after the fact. the blade will print full on its side on my bed 6x6x9, but will need cut for smaller printer or just scale the whole project down bu 5%-10%, included my cut of the blade. Current scale blade tip to pommel 14-3/4 in(374.65mm), guard widest 4-3/4in(120.65mm) Post-Printing light sanding and base of blade and inside guard if you can. Sanding here on the blade for a looser fit. Also, grip to be wrapped with cord or leather strips or hell sports tape or whatever your heart desires. How I Designed This Design in Shapr3D, scaled and processed in Simplify3d, repaired in Netfabb basic.
