I tried searching for adapters that weren't an entire fitting, it seems like a waste. So, I designed minimal pieces that use common PVC fittings to accomplish the same thing. The one piece screws over top a 1.5in mpt pvc fitting, allowing it to screw into the 1.5in fitting on our hose. The other couples a 1.5in pvc box adapter to the odd sized 1.5 in threads on my pool pump. I will provide pictures and updates as I build it.
