I liked the shoe stands for Barbies out there but most would only fit dolls without shoes and wit the cutouts it was very fragile. I made a basic version of these that was stronger and a little oversized so that it can accommodate wedging a shoe in there or bare feet. Its a middle ground that works well enough for me.
