I designed this one to print out in about 15 minutes, press fit, hold the name dial in place and not require you cut anything out. If you wanted to take it back apart and put the original button back on there's no reason you couldn't.

This was designed to only use two perimeters in most places with a .4 nozzle to minimize plastic. I printed this one in fake marble PLA at 200 on the hotend and nothing on the heated bed. You do need a pretty dialed in printer, I'd imagine.

Godit82 had some of these printed and they were a bit too tight to spin the movement dial once pressed together. I'll also point out that once pressed together, they will likely not come apart without breaking. I've uploaded a version with looser tolerances to make the dial move more smoothly. If you're having trouble with the original version or if you're sending out for prints, choose this version.

I've included some photos showing the differences in measurements I ended up with after reprinting (on a different printer than before). The youtube clip is me showing that while it's a little more loose, it's not a major gap.

Print Settings

Printer Brand:

SeeMeCNC

Printer:

Rostock MAX v3

Rafts:

No

Supports:

No

Resolution:

.2

Infill:

Any

Category: Games
