# This is a remix The bias tape maker by [DaintyThings](https://www.thingiverse.com/DaintyThings) is great! It's a compact form-factor and does the double fold in one printable piece. My partner liked the ability to pin down the tool (seen in in [this bias-tape maker](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4292451)), so I added two more 'wings' and holes to allow you to do so. My skill level with tuning the printer is at the beginning stage - so the first print would curl up really bad, especially since the bottom two wings are basically a single extruded line each layer. I printed this nicely with a brim to prevent that. There are two 'steep' overhangs in the model, but I had no problem bridging these. ## Next I am curious if this model would be possible using parameters, so it can be easily adapted to different widths of tape. I haven't made any design with these inner-revolving shaped, so I'll have a stab at those.
