BIBO 3D Printer Filament Spool Holder Adapter

This is an adapter that improves on the BIBO Filament Spool Holder. It includes three parts: 1) A large flange that fits througn the filament spool 2) A washer that goes between the filament spool and the BIBO mounting flange on the back of the printer. 3) A smaller flange that goes between the filament spool and the end of the existing shaft. This piece keeps the filament holder closer to the back wall of the machine and helps prevent the filament from coming off the spool and getting behind the spool between the spool and the back wall of the printer. The picture of the spool of black filament clearly shows the washer on the back of the spool and shows how closely the spool is held to the wall, while still rotating easily. The picture of the spool of whtle filament shows the smaller flange between filament spool and end of the BIBO spindle. You can see that it leaves no room for the spool to walk away from the wall. All dimensioin are parameterized. So you will be able to make changes in case your filament spools are different size that mine. I sliced the STL files with slic3r. Specifying support for the large spool. I printed the parts with PLA with these settings: 200 degrees hotend temperaturefor for the first layer 180 degrees hotend for subsequent layers 70 degrees bed temperature for all layers on the bare glass platform of the BIBO. with support generated for the large spool. I used the same filament as for the part itself. These settings worked out very well. The PLA liked the temperatures. It stuck to the bare glass very well and came off the board very easy after cooling. The file BIBO_washer_and_flange.scad is the only scad file you need. It includes all three parts.
