This is a base I designed to make a clock out of an old rotor from my bike. It's designed to be used with a 180mm Shimano SLX rotor and this clock motor. http://www.amazon.com/Seiko-Torque-Continuous-Sweep-Quartz-Movement/dp/B005LH5Q88/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1452394409&sr=8-2&keywords=clock+motor You'll need to get (6) M5 nuts and (6) M5 8mm bolts to attach the rotor to the clock motor mount section. I just used a dremel to cut my brake rotor bolts to the right size. I used some old calipers I had lying around, but theoretically you should be able to use other brands/models. And you can get creative with how you want to mount everything to a baseplate. I had an extra long M6 bolt call all the way through the wooden stand so I could fasten it securely.
