Big-Bubble Aquarium Decoration / Air Capacitor (with Sucker-Cup Bottom)

The mission was to create an "air capacitor." Commonly seen as a clam shell "big-bubble" display in the pet-store (usually next to a treasure chest - avast), this 'be a larger design for larger displays / tanks. Great for surface-tension disruption, as well as funky light displays. Modifications to the top-print to support an earlier air-release (in formation,) as well as to allow us to adjust the release time + bubble size by adding-on some weight. Adding weight is required - we used 1/4 inch steel ball bearings. Smaller sized hex nuts would also do well. Going to take the lessons learned here to another - more compact - design. -Stay tuned? NOTES: Use supports on all parts. Touching buildplate should be fine. Be sure to print the TOP with 100% infill, so as to ensure proper lid closure after pressure release. The bottom can be attached to your container via a sucker cup, so the bottom STL can be printed with whatever infill you like (we used 80%). Note the x-reinforcement for the in-pipe fitting. --Is becoming a best practice for our aqua-pipe prints.
