This is a scanned and magnified drinking bird. The head, body and feet were scanned with a Makerbot scanner. The other parts were designed to match. The acrylic neck tube is 1 1/4 inch OD; two feet long. The legs are 1 x 2 oak. I took a four foot section, drilled a 1 1/8 inch hole in the center, then cut the wood in the center of the circle. The legs slide into the base piece. I mounted the head and body by drilling and using a small screw (on the back side).
