I managed to do that but it took some time before I was satisfied. Roller blind: Width: 200cm Length: 190:cm Tube: ID:24 -+1mm Weight: 1,8kg Type of operation: bead chain Sadly Jysk don't sell the roller blind anymore. It looks like this: https://jysk.co.uk/curtains/blinds/roller-blinds/blackout/blackout-blind-bolga-180x170cm-white Version 04 and final: Nema17, timing belt, bearing wheel and spur gear Go to the final version - "Big Motorized Roller Blind" - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5575324 Version 03: Nema17 and three spur wheels Gearing: 2,6:1 (spur gear (10-12-26 teeth)) Perfect gear ratio but still too noisy at high speed. Version 02: Nema17 and two spur wheels Gearing: 1:1 (spur gear (26 teeth)) I used the locking mechanism from the original roller blind. Noisy and sometimes the nema17 couldn't lift the blind due to the gear ratio. Version 01: Nema17 Planetary Gearbox 5,18:1 Didn't work. The roller blind was too heavy to hold its position and too slow.
