This is a working model of the Big Thunder Mountain railroad rollercoaster from Disneyland California. It is made so that you can use 5x11x4 mm ball bearings for the wheels. You will need 10 3mmx 15mm screws, 9 washers to fit 3mm and a nut for one of the screws. The locomotive had been cut up to reduce print time and to reduce the need for supports. I have added custom supports where they are needed. At 1 km thickness the supports should cut off easily. The cars will be added when I finish them. As well as clips for the track to be used on 3\16 flexible but ridged pvc tube. A quick thanks to the backside of water podcast community for sharing important information to help model this project #backsideofwater Updated January 6, 2021. The seating cars of the rollercoaster trains have been added. They will need custom made lap and hand bars. The train has also had the numbers removed and the “Big Thunder Mountain Mining co.” Logo has been added. For the chain lift finger I am working out the details of how to make my own without having to use bike chain. I have been toying with the idea of using a spring set up that will rotate. More about that soon.
