BIG WHEEL WITH MOTOR AND WITHOUT MOTOR

BIG WHEEL WITH MOTOR AND WITHOUT MOTOR

thingiverse

I spotted a massive wheel in the toy store, and I was determined to purchase it. My wife suggested that I print one instead, which sparked an idea - and it actually worked! I now have two versions: a smaller model with a motor, and a larger one without a motor that still rotates beautifully. To create these designs, you can use Tinkercad to modify and enhance them. For the 6- and 8-spoke wheel structures, I used Inkscape software, but they're not symmetrical. You can easily use a slicing software to mirror the design along the X-axis. When setting up the basket on the big wheel, I realized that shrinking the 6-spoke version by 0.66 times made it difficult to find matching screws. So, I redesigned the entire thing and managed to save 12 screws in the process - my final version is now completely screw-free!
