Another of BigClive files also improved by me (tho some of the improvements still need work to make the lamp customizable. (number of faces on the base and crystals, so I mainly only did improve the code, and upped some resolutions/gave the option to change resolutions for some parts) To do: Make hole sizes customizable. (I might or might not tinker with this) Versions: * BigClivesCrystalLamp = is as Big Clive did publish it. Just as a file and not as a text string. * Improved = I improved that script a little. (as OpensCAD learning excercise) * V2 of the improved now comes with a base plate option. ... Also improved spelling. * V3 has an improved base plate (now it should lock in place properly, although base plate is now thicker) and since the "extra" crystals didn't turn out too well when I did print them as PETG (due the fact that one face is horizontal and therefore floating in mid air) I made them so that they can be printed as separate parts (and all are moved down 1mm so that there is no collision with the main crystal so that there is no need for sanding to make it fit. V3 also comes as STLs * V4 includes the option to use (hand soldered) WS2812B instead of the strawhats Clive used, also creates a part that holds a 12bit neopixel ring with a (slightly ground down) digispark (clone) which gives much more control over the animation. As I'm writing this I neither have not printed anything above V2, all improvements come from what I've learned from assembling the V2. (... not THE V2, tho ... as German I would already have experience in that, one might think. Still too soon?) Sorry for the messed up code, seems currently markup is half broken here.
