Bike chain wear indicator tool

This is a tool to measure wear on your bicycle chain and assist when working on your chain. How use this thing: (see pictures) 1 - To measure chain wear (use the "long side" for this): Insert the hook end between two chain links and rest it against the roller. Then see if the other end (flat edge) fits in between links or stops short. If it stops short, your chain is ok, if it fits inside the links, your chain may need replacing. 2 - To work on the chain (use the short side hooks) The short side has two hooks which can be use to relieve tension when installing a new chain or adding and removing links. Needless to say, make sure your printer is correctly dialed for precise prints. Also make sure your first layer isn't too squashed and flared as this will impact the tool's apparent size and skew measurement.
