This is a thread protection cap for small CO2 (carbon dioxide) cartridges. The thread size is 3/8NF24. They are all the same, so pick the one that strikes your fancy. These cartridges get beat up for months at a time in my bike bag. When it comes time to use one, the threads are usually damaged, and in turn damage my inflation tool. These caps should help protect the cartridge threads until they are needed. Happy biking!
