Bike Helmet Mounted Headset

My wife and I like to cycle, but find conversation somewhat difficult due to the pace or width of the trail/road. I found a pair of Cardo Scala Rider Q2 headsets listed on Craigslist at a great price, while these are used for motorcycles or snowmobiles, figured that I would give them a try cycling. The mount allows the headset to quickly and securely mounted to the helmet. The flexible earpiece allows the speaker to be positioned near the ear, without losing road awareness. The mount consists of 2 pieces which attach to the Q2's factory mounting holes with M3 screws. The speaker mounts clamp to two pieces of GearTies, which allow it to be easily positioned and adjusted. Hardware for clamps are #6 screws and nuts. Field tested and works well - holds position and good quality of sound. Purchased items: ~8" of 3/4" VELCO strap 1 package of 12" GearTies (Nite-Ize GT12-2PK-01) 2" of self-adhesive VELCO for speaker
