A minimalistic holder to mount your torch onto your bicycle's handlebar. No screws, no glue, no need to rotate, consisting of one single part, and customisable. All you need to fit your torch onto your bike is: * this holder * an existing torch, with a known diameter * two or four tie wraps With the default parameters (the .stl file), the holder will hold a 24 mm diameter torch (I have the NiteCore EC20), fitted onto a 30 mm handlebar. The .scad model can be customised to fit practically any torch or handlebar using OpenSCAD. ## Print settings information Due to its flexibility and durability in harsh conditions, the use of ABS is strongly recommended. Due to its stiffness, PLA is not ideal, but might work with a thinner ring (lower the value for `thickness_ring`). Set the infill to 100% for the best strength. ## Frequently asked questions *How do I customise this design?* Unfortunately, Thingiverse's customizer is too buggy to deal with this source file (it does not handle the `rotate_extrude(angle)` function properly). To customise, you will need to download OpenSCAD and change the parameters manually. *Can I print this with PLA instead of ABS?* Not sure. Let me know how you go, and which parameters you use. Be sure to play around with the values for `angle` (see below) and `thickness_ring`. *The holder is too tight/too loose to keep the torch in place* Play around with the `angle` value. Decrease it to e.g. 210 for a more loose fit, increase it to e.g. 230 for a tighter fit. *How can I use larger or smaller tie wraps?* Change the values for `dx_tie` and `dy_tie` to the width and height of your tie wrap. Note that you might fit together multiple tie wraps to get all the way around your handlebar. *Can I mount the holder onto a vertical part of my handlebar (e.g., the handlebar stem)?* Yes, simply change the `rotate_handlebar` to 0.
