Bike Pedal for clipless

Bike Pedal for clipless

thingiverse

Designed up this pedal to attach to Shimano SPD clipless pedals, so when you need a bit flat pedal cycling for popping to shop or to a mates house, you can head out to the world without switching shores or pedals, clip-on and go. Printing: Have included by G code for Prase Mini using ASA but if what to config your own, make it a stiff structure, i.e. 30%-40% infill with polygon patten and 6 layered wall layers thick. It bikes pedal, so going to take a lot of knocks. Post Print: Attach the SPD metal clips by self-tapping the SPD metal clips bolts to the print [refer to photo for location]. The pedal can be used for the left or right pedal, depending on which round the metal clips are. Do not tighten too much as plastic will deform [approx. 2Nm worked well for ASA]. To add grip when cycling, I used a white waterproof skiboard grip tap [as shown in the photo], which can be picked up from eBay for few dollars and cut out the opening with craft knifing. I hope you enjoy 3D printed freedom and ride safe.
