I designed this part because on the original one, I over tightened the pinch lever which damaged threads on the original bolt & barrel nut. When trying to loosen it, the plastic holding the hex head bolt was rounded as well, so basically a complete disaster. This is a complete replacement for that part ( except lever and its hardware ).

Following hardware is needed:

M6*45 hex head bolt ( used with the lever )

M6*30 barrel head bolt + M6 nut

If you damaged your barrel nut, you will need a M6 barrel nut as well.

Should be compatible with any bike stand that uses tubes of the following sizes:

inner tube: cca 35mm

outer tube: cca 38mm

My particular one is made by Brand-X which is just OEM branded product IIRC.

I used PLA and it works perfectly fine, easily holds my entire weigh with very little torque on the lever. The original part had problems holding my 15kg bike, it just kept sliding down even when I really tightened the lever so this part is an upgrade for me too!

Print Settings

Use as many perimeters as possible and no infill.
It should be solid and entirely made out of perimeters for maximum strength.

Print upside down. Tree supports highly recommended.

I used 220C ( Creality PLA ) to fuse the layers together really well.

This is one of my older designs I originally published to Thingiverse on Oct 30, 2019.
