Once I bought some pulleys to hold my ladder up to the ceiling, but they were not strong enough one day they broke.

So I designed new pulleys, and I designed them in such way outside would look the same, both halves would be the same so sides with highest forces would be the strongest so printed equal to the bed.

There are three sorts of pulleys, one to attach with side to construction, one to attach with bottom of pulley to construction and one to rotate freely.

So now I can lift big stuff to the ceiling.

For example I have used these to put my ladder to the ceiling of my shed. See photographs.

I have tested the pulleys with a hanging bucket with 20 litres of water after a week hanging there was no distortion on my prints.

The wheel where rope should roll on is attached with IKEA cupboard attachers like seen on picture 8 and 9.

Print instructions

Printing in PETG on structured PEI bed
