Bio-Rad charges about $200 for a plastic comb holder for the CHEF PFGE systems (part number #1703699). That made me angry, so I designed a simplified version that should do the job - replacing the fancy thumb screw spreader mechanism with a couple of M4 screws. enjoy, and happy electrophoresing.
