Nice looking Stearman style biplane. Prop spins and the main gear tires roll. This is a static display or kids toy, it will not fly. Style cues taken from the stearman and other period biplanes but it isn't intended to be a scale model of any of them. Print Settings Printer: Hictop Prusa clone Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: .06 on smalls .1 on everything else Infill: 25 to 50% Notes: Fuselage length is 184mm. Top wing length is 176mm. The bottom wing prints in two halves that are then slid into the slot in the fuselage, this is a near perfect fit as printed on my printer. Print doubles on the struts and tires. Print all small parts including the engine at higher resolution for best results. Use 50% infill on the landing gear to make sure they are sturdy enough. The engine, prop, and prop retainer can be printed separately so the prop will spin, but it may give problems so a static version combining the pieces is included. An epoxy or other suitable adhesive is necessary to attach the landing gear and wing struts. The tires are held on with the hub cap which is a light press fit, no adhesive needed. The tail wheel prints with the fuselage but will probably break off when removing the supports so there is a separate tail wheel included in the stl's. The holes for the struts and landing gear will need to be enlarged to accept these pieces, the printed holes are for reference only. On the cabane struts I needed to align the diagonal brace on an axis and increase the scale for that axis by a factor of .1 for the cabanes to line up with the printed holes.
