With this mod i wanted to achieve two things, 1st to reduce the noice of the internal 40mm fans that drives me crazy and 2nd use klipper without having extra power cords and keeping everything contain into the printer and keeping the touch screen in the printer. For the cooler fan mod i've used a 120mm 12v PC Case cooler fan paired with a MP1584 Step down voltage regulator. > https://es.aliexpress.com/item/4001076102534.html Now, for the Raspberry instalation i've made a custom adaptor that allows to use the original display screw holes to fix the RPi 3.inch Display that do not have any screw hole. Then i've made a bracket that screws into the existing internal 40mm cooler fan support. To connect the RPi with the display is needed 12 x 30cm male to female jumper wires using the conection schemme that is atached in the images. For powering the Rpi i've used a LM2596 module conected to 24v on the printer power supply. > https://es.aliexpress.com/item/32991054010.html > https://es.aliexpress.com/item/1005004611997111.html LINKS: > http://wiki.sunfounder.cc/index.php?title=3.5_Inch_LCD_Touch_Screen_Monitor_for_Raspberry_Pi > http://www.lcdwiki.com/3.5inch_RPi_Display > https://www.klipper3d.org/Installation.html > https://klipperscreen.readthedocs.io/ > https://github.com/emtrax-ltd/Cura2MoonrakerPlugin To make the screen to work propperly i've made the following steps: 1) Install Raspberry Pi OS Lite (32bits) into the sd card. 2) Power Up the RPI and Update and upgrade the system. > sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade 3) Install git and ffmpeg > sudo apt intall git ffmpeg 4) Install the display drivers following the instructions in this tutorial: > http://www.lcdwiki.com/3.5inch_RPi_Display 5) Install Klipper then Moonraker then Mainsail or Fluid and then KlipperScreen. For this step i've this script that mades everything super easy. > https://github.com/th33xitus/kiauh IN THE THINGS FILES YOU CAN FIND MY printer.cfg
