Mount to convert stock Biqu B1 SE (not Plus!) extruder to direct. You need PTFE pipe about 55-56 mm for connection between extruder and hotend. N.B.: you should cut cable locks, it allows to lower extruder by 6 mm. First I tried to print the whole mount with PLA, but it was too flexible, despite ribs. Taking into account that we expect retraction 0.5-1mm for direct extruder, we need very rigid construction. FEM analysis shows, that it's virtually impossible to achieve this with plastic. So I decided to go to the compound construction - steel/aluminum plate with rib (about 40-45 / 80 mm) and PLA printed mount. Stencil is used for plate drilling, and printed mount has 2mm holes for wood screws. They need to be drilled for bigger diameter according to screws you have. Now I set 0.8mm retraction (actually 0.5 also works). Nevertheless you may try print first variant with ribs included in this design. Also I decided not to mount filament sensor and just disabled it in the printer menu. Actually it can be placed in any place.
