BIQU H20 Water Jacket Plate

The BIQU H20 (water cooled hotend) is really a fantastic innovation from BIQU. Unfortunately it has one major flaw, the acrylic plate that is mounted to its water jacket and holds the water in. Over time, and through many use cycles in a heated enclosures, it begins to form cracks and fails. BIQU was kind enough to send a replacement to me but who wants to wait weeks or months for a part from China to arrive? Acrylic is just not the appropriate material for a water jacket cover because of its low glass transition temperature. Aluminum would be the best choice, but I don't have access to a CNC mill. I ultimately settled for printing a replacement out of polycarbonate, which I believe will stand up much better in the long run. However even a replacement printed out of ABS or PETG would be superior. This prints exactly how you'd imagine it would. It is very important that the first layer (on the side that mounts to the block of the extruder) be squished flat against the build plate. The countersunk holes for the screws should face upwards. I used a .4 nozzle and the holes lined up perfectly.
