This is an enclosure/box with lid and and openings for air cooling to protect the MOS module and operate it conveniently simply opening the lid. This is designed for v1.3 modules, these have a lower MOSFET heatsink that is needlessly oversized in previous versions. Anyway if you have a previous version you can try to break some air vent gaps from the lid and try, otherwise the lid wouldn't close. Several lids provided, choose your favourite. Fixing screws & hexa nuts 4x M3x10. Drill yourself the holes for fixing it to the chassis as you need. No support required. ABS print recommended. 30% infill. Once printed clean up / sand a bit the hinge attachments and press fit gently the lid to the box inserting first one of the lid pins, then the other. The two teeth of the closing of the lid are smaller, sand it a bit till you feel the lid closes/opens as you want (not too tight). Base doesn't provide mounting holes, drill yours according to your needs. These modules are highly recommended, as it contains NPQ030N06 power MOSFET capable of 200+ amps, a very low voltage drop, and optocoupler. It works COOL even at 25Amp. Easily found below $5. Nice update if you have a powerful DC hotbed. Mine works cool at 24v/18A. I was tired of relays and bad quality SSR's till I found this. All my machines have one of this now. I love it. Included used module pic as a reference. Enjoy. UPDATE (29-NOV-2017):Lid vent holes were misaligned 1mm. This didn't affect lid functionality. Anyway lid model and FreeCAD sources updated. Added three more lid models. If you want to see LED's I recommend to print the lid in clear ABS. Increased M3 hex nut holes diameter. Pics of one of my builds.
