Bird Feeder Squirrel Guard

After the squirrels kept dumping all the bird seed from my feeder, I designed this guard to keep them from climbing the pole. My feeder is hanging from a shepard's/hanging basket hook made with a 1/2" diameter steel rod. Print two of the center pieces and then use a hose clamp to attach them to the rod. The center hub has an outer diameter of 1-1/4". Next slide the cone section onto the notch in the center pieces, bring the ends together to align the holes while bending it into a cone shape and use three small zip ties to secure it in place. The cone fits loosely to the center hub so that it can tip and spin, preventing the squirrels from being able to get on top of it.
