Tipping helps me continue to create new designs, I invite you to consider one. Modelled after a Birlinn, this has been designed to function as a sailing toy boat in waves no more than 25cm high. This was a gift for my nephew originally. It floats well and travels straight, but requires some ballast (a handful of stones, some toys, etc.) for best results. 275mm long, 85mm wide, and 150mm tall. You will need a pin, approximately 2.5mm in diameter as a hinge for the rudder. String or twine is required to rig the sail. The sail must be cut out of cloth or plastic sheeting (grocery bag, Tyvek, cotton, denim, etc.)
