Bit holder for hexagon screw bits

Of course, there are already different bit holders here. The special thing about this one is that you only need very little filament to print it, and the printing is very fast because the bit holder is printed in vase mode. In addition, the bits are clamped, and can not fall out.

Printing instruction

Due to the vase mode, the extrusion width must be taken into account in the dimensions. Therefore the models are available for the standard 0.4 mm nozzle (*nz0.4*), and for a 0.6 mm nozzle (*nz0.6*). You can also print the models for nz0.6 with the standard nozzle, but then you have to set the extrusion width to 0.65 mm.

Deviating from the standard profile:

activate spiral vase

Increase Solid Layers Bottom by 1 (the bottom plate is 1.4 mm thick)

0.3 mm layer height

To find out if the tolerance fits without wasting filament, I recommend printing the 2x2 version first. If the bits are too loose or too tight, you can scale in X and Y.

Tested with PETG. I would not use PLA. G-Code is done with Prusaslicer 2.4
