Bite Switch

Bite Switch

thingiverse

An ability switch for disabled people who are unable to use their hands, but still have some functional head movement. The user bites the switch to operate it.The switch is based on a clothes peg and uses a clothes peg spring (I used the external type ). It takes a two pin 6mm tactile switch which is wired to a 3.5mm mono socket, though you could wire it however you pleased. It connects to a bendy arm which are readily available on ebay as 'lazy stands' for mobile phones. This allows the switch to be placed in the optimal position for the user.
