This is a cord tensioner for the Black Diamond FLZ trekking pole. Background: My Black Diamond FLZ trekking pole (foldable) became stuck and required the cutting of the existing cord retention insert to separate the sections. The cord tensioner is a friction fit for a 12.5 mm ID I replaced the cord with a 1.18 mm paracord, which required it to be checked for tension against the other working pole. The part can be glued into the top of the pole section if required.
