You can protect yourself against filament wasting by making paper low-poly version of this model (it is in the listing) using Pepakura, because it has the same inner measurements. If this paper mask fits to your head you can print the model as it is, if it doesn't, then try to change its size in Pepakura by a certain percentage and if it fits after that just use the same changing percentage for printing.
