A control box upgrade for the Tevo Black Widow that supports the stock and Mean Well SE-600-24 power supplies. Features: Mounting holes provided for the stock and Mean Well SE-600-24 power supplies. Flush mounting of the rear cooling fan. Support for a rear panel mount USB connector: Utilizes stock fasteners. Added room for wiring. Improved access to the main board. Requires no supports. Additional Accessories: Motherboard Fan Mount (used to cool steppers). TEVO External Relay Mount. This upgrade replaces the bottom and back panel of the existing control box then provides a new mount for the motherboard that provides easy access. This control box adds more room for wiring and improves cooling. It was designed to take advantage of the stock fasteners as best as possible. If you are using the Mean Well power supply additional M3x10 screws will be required. I have added the missing USB connector mount on the back. The specific USB connector I designed it for was purchased at Amazon here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LRZ8GK2 Quick tip: I noticed that the main board can be powered over USB when the power supply is shut off. To prevent from happening a quick solution is to use a x-acto knife and needle nose pliers to remove pin 1 from the usb type B connector of the cable (google for the pinout). If you are using the Mean Well SE-600-24 power supply you will need to mount your rear cooling fan to draw air into the case to maximize cooling. This is because the Mean Well SE-600-24 fan discharges out the front of the case. If the rear fan discharges out of the case as well both fans will be fighting one another and will be drawing heat from the power supply back inside the case. When using the Mean Well SE-600-24 power supply the tabs on the upgraded power switch will need to be bent up slightly to allow the power supply enclosure to clear the switch. Updates: Added a V2 board that accepts the accessory boards. Added a V3 extended mainboard mount which is peppered with holes allowing customization of the mainboard location and accessories. Added an accessory board for the TEVO external relay. I have not tested this personally the dimensions were given to me along with many photos. Please report back success or failure. Print Settings Printer: Tevo Black Widow Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 20% Notes: Maximize your Black Widows build space in the X direction before printing. Place the base print as far left as possible. The base requires the full build width of the Black Widow.
