Make your converter not so micro I like SDI devices but not SDI cameras, so I designed a cheap mount to attach a BiDirectional MicroConverter from Blackmagic to a 15mm Rod system. For the 15mm Rod connection I used a SmallRig adapter and screws, plastic likely wouldn't be strong enough.
