Blade Builder - Build Your Own Lightsaber

Blade Builder - Build Your Own Lightsaber

After coming across, 3DPrintingWorld's original design, I decided to start creating my own designs for lightsabers. To make this process easier for others, I have included the template I use whenever creating a new design. My remixed version divides the lightsaber into multiple parts, allowing for mix matching and further customization. This additionally, helps to reduce the likelihood of a failed print that is all one large piece. Included are the STL files for - Emitter - Switch - Hilt - Pommel Because my printer has a z limit of 180, I had to make adjustments to the blades provided by 3D printing world so that they would fit. You can choose to use these shorter blades, or adjust your lightsaber to be larger to fit the blades he has provided. I created this template in Tinkercad, as well as all my other designs. Its extremely easy and straightforward to use, versus other CAD software that may challenge beginners. I recommend looking at saberforge or Ultrasabers for further design inspiration. Have fun and post your own lightsaber designs for others to see and make! UPDATE 3/31/20 I have included files for a belt attachment as well as a piece that screws into the lightsaber so that it can be clipped to ones belt.
